CCC Clone Cricket Challenge I would love to share a video with you made by a dear friend @arjunlalbhai . I think you will appreciate. What is the Film about? In 2020, when the pandemic hit, sport too had to be discontinued for months. To safeguard and protect sport, specifically cricket, against any future calamity, the ICC has now partnered with the BCCI to come up with a new format which is being experimented for the first time. By cloning a player multiple times and dividing the clones into both teams, cricket can now be played from home. The success of this experiment could change the world, let alone cricket or sport. An Indian cricketer becomes the first one to be cloned. Arjun says - "I am not a professional filmmaker or video editor. But when I thought of this idea, I learnt these video editing skills by taking up online courses during the lockdown while I was staying at home in Ahmedabad. From ideation to the final edit, it took me over 6 months to complete this. That is partly also due to the fact that the full movie has been shot using just my smartphone, a tripod and green screen. I did not have any other equipment or gadgets for easier working even in scenes where the camera moves and there are multiple clones. Cricket is my passion and filmmaking is a hobby. Staying at home during the pandemic compelled me to drive forward this idea of combining those two elements. Sport unites us like nothing else ever does and so through the video I hope to bring a little smile and spread a bit of joy in these unprecedented times." We are trying to share this with as many people as we can to spread some laughter and hope. Please Drop Comments with your opinions.
